Calvi, Corsica

Calvi is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.It is the seat of the Canton of Calvi, which contains Calvi and one other commune, Lumio. Start off your visit on the 8th (Wed): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then kick back and relax at Aregno Beach, and then steep yourself in history at Citadelle de Calvi.

Cairo, Egypt to Calvi is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Eastern European Time to Central European Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. At the southernmost tip of the island of Corsica, Bonifacio is a city with chalk-white limestone outcrops sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Thu): make a trip to Bonifacio Citadel and then enjoy the sand and surf at Plage de San Giovanni. On the 10th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through Plage du Petit Sperone, then step off the mainland to explore Iles Lavezzi, and then don't miss a visit to Escalier du Roi d'Aragon (King Aragon Steps).
