Santa Cesarea Terme is a town and comune of 3,100 inhabitants in province of Lecce, in Apulia, southern Italy.Situated on the coast at the entrance of the Strait of Otranto, on a part of the coast which comes down to the sea, the town of Santa Cesarea is one of the largest centers for thermal baths in the Salento. Visiting 19 Summer Club and Bagno Marino Archi will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Santa Cesarea Terme: Specchia (Palazzo Protonobilissimo Risolo & Centro Storico Medievale di Specchia), L'Astore Masseria (in Cutrofiano) and Parco Astronomico San Lorenzo (in Casarano). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Spiaggia Porto Miggiano, head outdoors with La Grotta Verde, take in the waterfront activity at Piscina Naturale di Marina Serra, and explore the fascinating underground world of Grotta Zinzulusa.

For other places to visit, reviews, maps, and more tourist information, refer to the Santa Cesarea Terme road trip planner .

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major airport is Brindisi – Salento Airport. In July in Santa Cesarea Terme, expect temperatures between 34°C during the day and 26°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
