Change things up with a short trip to Museo de la Llama y la Sal in Colchani (about 1h 15 min away). There's lots more to do: explore the striking landscape at Salar de Uyuni, tour the pleasant surroundings at Senda Andina, see the interesting displays at Train Cemetery, and step off the mainland to explore Isla Incahuasi.
