The political capital of Martinique, Fort-de-France has a thriving commercial center and a number of historic sites.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Scuba & Snorkeling and Savane Des Petrifications. Explore Fort-de-France's surroundings by going to Le Diamant (Morne Larcher & St-Thomas Church of Diamant), Trois-Ilets (Le Musee de la Mer & La Savane des Esclaves) and Les Anses d'Arlet (Stand-Up Paddleboarding & Anse Dufour). Spend the 26th (Wed) exploring nature at Parc Naturel Regional de la Martinique. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Jardin de Balata, get outside with Jet Team Sport, kick back and relax at Les Salines Beach, and get great views at Le Morne Gommier.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major airport is Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport. In June in Fort-de-France, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 29°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
